Dial-Up Connection to Internet

Now that it has been determined that your AppleShare IP server and network have a Dial-up connection to the Internet - the availability of Domain Name Service (DNS) system has to be determined. The designated DNS system (remote or local) affects a clients' access to your AppleShare IP server. If DNS service isn't available - you will use IP addresses to connect to the AppleShare IP server.

Will your DNS services be provided on local network or by your ISP? (If you're not sure - please read every option below to see which fits your situation. You can also read more on DNS.)
